So... this weekend has been interesting.. I coordinated a gorgeous wedding in St. Michaels... it was father's day so I got to spend some time with my parents and D's parents... I finished doing a contract for a wedding next May which will be signed tomorrow....

My laptop completed DIED on me and I lost everything on my hard drive!!! Best part of my weekend! BLAH!!!!

Oh what a sad, sad state of affairs we "Americans" are in these days... I couldn't imagine having to go through what some people are going through.. but then again I also didn't take advantage of the housing market and assume that I could get thousands of dollars refinancing my home and that my interest rate would stay at 5% forever! Sometimes I really wonder if people think before they act... of course not!!

Jingle mail is the package containing the keys to your house that you send back to the bank when the interest rate on your adjustable-rate or IO/neg-am mortgage resets, or the property tax bill gets reassessed at double what it was two years ago, or you find out that heating and AC and repairs cost a ton of freaking money, or you lose your job because of the recession that's coming with the housing crash, and you can't make the payments any more.

My neighbor put up the Escalade and the Beemer that he bought with his third HELOC for sale, and has been having garage sales every week for the last month to raise cash ... I give it about 90 days till he sends in the jingle mail.

So... I'm home sick with the flu! :( Guess that means I get to sleep in.. um wait.. nope still up at 6:30am. Maybe I can do some crafting today or even finish laundry. We will see! Of course all of this will be in between my many naps since I am already exhausted and I just woke up!

Momiji Dolls are a series of collectible friendship dolls. They may be small but they're big on style! Each doll comes in a see-through bag with its own collectors card. Inside the base of each doll there's a tiny card to write a teeny message.

Each doll is approx 8-9cm tall and made from heavyweight resin.

SuPeR bOwL!!!!

So.. last night after my first vendor experience as a bridal show vendor (more on that later), D and I went to my dad's house to watch the super bowl with some of my family. My dad recently got a theater room done in his basement so everyone had to watch the Super Bowl on his 100 something inch screen. My favorite commercials by far at the following:

I have been sooo busy for the past week trying to get everything together for my very first bridal show that I am PARTICIPATING in!!! I have my own little 6x8 booth at the Baltimore Bridal Show. I will be there to promote my wedding coordination and design business... Once this weekend is over hopefully I will have some new clients and more time to STAMP!! :)
