I'm the worst at packing! You would think that a quick three day trip would be easy for me to pack for.... um... NO!

I have six says worth of clothes on my bed.. I seriously need to reconsider this! I'm not taking a checked bag (which is usually a definite for me) because I refuse to pay the $15 checked bag fee... and IT'S A THREE DAY TRIP!! LOL..

Well.. wish me luck!

So, I'm part of an online board of girls and we all met while planning our weddings in Las Vegas. We did a "Secret Santa" exchange and I just got my gift today! It is SOOO yummy! D yelled at me a bit because he thought I bought more chocolate online! LOL! Then he found out it was from one of my "board girls" and that made it all better! Anyway... I'm off to get fatter with my chocolate and almonds! YUMMMMMMM

Today I decorated my mini holiday tree in about 5 minutes :) I'm very happy with the results! For two people who don't really celebrate the holidays besides the giving and receiving of presents and the trips to see family... Our tree is mighty sparkly! Don't be jealous... for about 30 bucks and a trip to Pottery Barn and Borders you could be the lucky owner of a similar tree. Happy Holidays to all!!

It's that time of year again...

I was at the store today during me "lunch break" and guess what they had blaring through the music system.... CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!!

Here it is only the 1st of November and we already should be in the holiday spirit... At least that is what the stores want... Goodness!!! Guess I should get started on my holiday list... already have my one big purchase -D - taken care of... He got a wonderful iPhone just like mine as an early Christmas present... Guess that means I only have 15 more people to shop for (I have a large family) and about 45 smaller gifts to make for friends!!

Yesterday in my attempt to continue my streak of nice things to do for my hubby (more on this in a bit) I asked D if he wanted an iPhone for Christmas. Thinking he was as big a dork as me and knowing his past fascination with my new toy I knew his answer was going to be yes... WRONG!!! He actually said no and for me to save my money...however he did say I could get him a year subscription to XM radio!

I'm sure you are wondering what other "nice" thing I have done lately... Well.. I did give him my old laptop when my new one came!!! Here he is reformatting it and having a grand old time!

So.. last night after my first vendor experience as a bridal show vendor (more on that later), D and I went to my dad's house to watch the super bowl with some of my family. My dad recently got a theater room done in his basement so everyone had to watch the Super Bowl on his 100 something inch screen. My favorite commercials by far at the following:
