January SMaK!!!

In one of the yahoo groups I am a member of I joined a SMAK (small act of kindness) swap for this month. Lately, in addition to the mailboxes that I am addicted to altering, I have loved making this adorable milk cartons!! So, I made them as my SMAK for a special group of stampin ladies. I hope they like them. I also included some yummy treats in the cartons for them! : )

The NeW ToY I WaNt!!!!

Ok.. so as you can tell I am not that great with taking pictures of my projects. I either use a make shift card board box and my door for a stand and background or I just scan it with my flatbed scanner. Well.. the other day I happened upon this "ToY" that I want and must obtain... :)

My Demo Duo Package

So, I signed up to be in this "swap" called Demo Duos where I am paired up with another SU Demo and we talk via email and the phone and then send each other packages with goodies and stamp stuff. I am paired with a nice demo in FL and this is the first package of goodies that I sent to her! :)




I gave her three stamped items - The altered frap bottle, the Five in One Card Cover pack, and the altered mailbox. All items where made using SU! products. In addition to the stamped items I gave her pack of kettle corn, dark chocolate, a Yankee candle, a new stamp set and two jumbo stampin around cartridges! I hope she likes it!

BaBiEs

So.. so many of D's friends are having BaBiEs!!! I, being the crafty person that I try to be, have decided to make then all "baby congrats" cards!! I wanted to use colors that aren't typical on any type of baby card and I am loving the colors pink and brown right now. So... here are my creations.

So.. I have been busy with crafty creations and pondering the idea of opening a retail store lately.. more of my time has been on pondering the retail store idea.. but I will just be sharing my crafty creations today!! LOL.. sorry!!

So... the hottest thing on SC right now are these adorable tinplate mailboxes that they have in the $1.00 spot at the T...


Yep that is right.. i said ONE BUCK!!!. Of course being the pack rat that I am I felt the need to stock up on them. However, ever since I got them they have been sitting in a box next to my new "scrapping and stamping shelves" and today I felt the need to start decorating some of the 30ish mini mailboxes that I hoarded.. and this is my first mailbox creation..

SiCk!!!

So... my first real time to be "called for duty" as a wife was last night. The hubby was sick with a high fever and I had to go to the store and get him some Gatorade and nuggets.. lol.. that is what he wanted.. Check out this crazy outfit he insisted on wearing...



Anywho... he is still feverish today so I'm home from work to take care of him. That means.. take his temperature, get him Gatorade, make him soup, clean the house and BlOg!!! LOL... I might try and fit in some crafting though.. we will see.

So, with Christmas just past and birthdays happening all the time I figured what better way to use my nice new stamps but to use them to make wrapping paper and gift card holders....

Birthdays!!!

Yesterday was my DH's friend's birthday party. We all celebrated at his house by eating good Chinese food and sushi.



Has has one of those Ninetendo Wii's and the boys and kids had fun playing on that!!




They also had fun playing with his light sabers...
no further comment about that, I believe the link speaks for itself! LOL..





One of my resolutions this year is to take time for the little things in life more often.. like being with family, friends, playing with the kids, etc..



Speaking of kids.. if OnE more person asks when we are having them.. I might scream!! LOL.. Just kidding... but for real who knows... when the time is **right**.. that is when.
(** this means hopefully within the next two years.. I mean.. I want two and I wanna be done by the time I am 30!!!)
